According to Amazon, "AWS Solutions Certified Architect - a valid professional level examination of advanced technical skills and experience in designing applications and distributed systems on the AWS platform." In my experience it is very comprehensive and a screening with lots of real world usage cases being converted to exam questions. If you have not worked on concrete projects that involve Architecting infrastructure on AWS, it could be very difficult to answer some of the questions.
